The Cone Shell
Although the cone shell looks like any other harmless sea snail, it has killed many people off the coasts of Australia. Inside its long proboscis there are infinite harpoons that are packed with a deadly venom. The harpoons are fired with a muscular contraction. This is one shell that won’t be found in a shell collectors shell box!
